Ingredients (~4-6 servings)
- 1/2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp minced fresh dill
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper, to taste
Mix Everything Together
In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, mayonnaise, sour cream, minced garlic, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Whisk until smooth – the garlic powder will clump at first but just keep whisking.
Taste and adjust the salt and pepper as needed; some folks like more lemon juice too.
Let It Sit Before Serving
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving – this lets the flavors meld together.
The dill will get more pronounced after sitting, and the garlic will mellow out slightly.
This keeps in the fridge for up to 1 week in an airtight container.

Fresh Dill Dip
This is the perfect excuse to eat an entire sleeve of crackers or pretend that raw vegetables are exciting. It’s tangy, garlicky, and takes about 2 minutes to throw together.
