Easy Homemade Chocolate Fudge

This is a straightforward, no-bake chocolate fudge that uses sweetened condensed milk to create a smooth texture. The process is fast - it involves melting chocolate with condensed milk, stirring in vanilla, and then letting it set.

Ingredients

Ingredients (8 servings)

  • 200g sweetened condensed milk one 7-oz tube or half a 14-oz can
  • 170g semi-sweet or dark chocolate 6 oz, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Flaky sea salt optional, for finishing

Instructions

  • Line loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang for handles.
  • Combine chopped chocolate and condensed milk in saucepan over low-medium heat.
  • Stir constantly until chocolate melts completely and mixture is smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  • Pour into prepared pan and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
  • Refrigerate until firm, at least 1 hour.
  • Lift using parchment handles and cut into squares.

Notes

Keep heat low to prevent chocolate from scorching or becoming grainy.
