Double Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
These are dense, fudgy, brownie-like cookie bars. The recipe is straightforward - the batter is mixed in one bowl, pressed into a pan, and baked. No chilling or scooping is required.

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Line 8x8 inch pan with parchment paper, leaving overhang.
Whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl.
Whisk melted butter with both sugars in large bowl. Add eggs and vanilla, whisk until smooth.
Fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until nearly combined. Add chocolate chips and fold until just mixed.
Press dough evenly into prepared pan.
Bake 28-32 minutes until edges are set but center slightly underdone.
Cool completely in pan before lifting out and slicing.
Notes
Bars will continue to firm up while cooling. Store in airtight container up to 5 days.
