Classic Beer Bread
This is a simple quick bread that's ready in under an hour and uses ingredients you probably have on hand. The beer adds a subtle malty flavor and helps create a tender crumb without any kneading.

Ingredients

all-purpose flour
sifted

baking powder

granulated sugar

bottle beer
12 oz, room temperature

butter
melted, plus extra for greasing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375F and butter a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
Whisk together sifted flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a large bowl.
Pour in beer and stir just until combined.
Spoon batter into prepared pan and spread to corners.
Drizzle melted butter evenly over top.
Bake 40-50 minutes until golden brown and toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool in pan 5 minutes, then turn out onto wire rack.
Slice when slightly warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Don't overmix the batter - lumps are fine and keep the bread tender.
