Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 9x13 pan.
Slice 18 Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping tops and bottoms intact as one piece each.
Place bottom half in pan and spread 3 Tbsp mayonnaise evenly across surface.
Layer half of 1 1/2 lbs ham over rolls, then half of 3/4 lb cheese.
Add remaining ham and cheese as a second layer.
Place top rolls over ham and cheese.
Whisk together 6 Tbsp melted butter, 1 1/2 Tbsp brown sugar, 1 1/2 Tbsp Dijon mustard, 1 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, 3/4 tsp garlic powder, 3/4 tsp onion powder, and 1 1/2 Tbsp poppy seeds.
Brush mixture over tops of rolls and pour any remaining sauce over top.
Cover pan tightly with foil and bake 20 minutes.
Remove foil and bake 8-10 minutes until tops are golden-brown.
Garnish with 1 1/2 Tbsp fresh chives and slice between rolls.
Notes
Double layering ensures ham and cheese in every bite. Best served warm.
